Feedback from Colin

Cover - He did not like but then again I'm not too keen, The design works for what the band want and they are really happy with it which really is all that matters, The type I have re worked as seen on previous post and he also disagreed with the scale and positioning of the saxophone which I agreed to and have complied a few more composition taking this into consideration. Colin had the idea of making the typography less dominant which initially I disagreed with and I felt it's a statement piece and quite typographic in a designers point of view, however I'm torn with the size I think it's much better larger so I think I'll get a second opinion






Business Card - Now I have emailed this example to the band and their not too keen it's not as 'funky' as they would like which is fair enough I think in this design my personality and style took over a bit too much and wasn't considering the bands personality or style. Colin feels the same about the business card design and felt the line typography was unnecessary and to try it filled rather than hollow.

Back Cover -  This is a base of the design as I haven't really worked on this as much as the other designs so this was the basic structure to show where I was heading. I like the splats used and the colouring as it flows and links in with the front cover, I felt the type worked but to be fair I hadn't tried any others at this stage to compare with. Colin felt that this type may of been used too much so I am going to look into different type choices for the track listing. I also thought of maybe scraping the saxophone on the front cover and enlarging the text to become to main focal point and adding the saxophone to the back cover design.
