Insert, I have decided to keep it simple and have inverted the colour scheme, using more white with subtle hints of orange, I feel if i used the orange again on the inside it will be too over powering and sickly so I have toned it down. I am going to create the disc label in orange so it will contrast well with the white. For the information I have used Optima the same typeface used for the track listing on the back and have coloured it with the same orange used for the front and back to link it all together. For the right hand side insert I will use the same orange on white style with a few splats on it to tie it together with the orange disc it should compliment each other.
The disco has the same logo featured on that on the left hand side I decided to position it here as I thought below was to conventional, I think with this band they want to stray far away from conventional, when first thinking about it I wanted the logo to be large and to cover the whole CD naively not thinking about the whole in the centre of the CD.
For the insert I haven't actually attempted to create the bright orange insert that is similar to the front and back without actually seeing it I know it will look too much, too bright and the I feel the front will loose it's funk style and uniqueness if it is being repeated constantly throughout the bands branding.
Here are some other compositions for the album insert. I felt it was important to incorporate some splat element but not to overload with it as the examples below feel are too much inside I wanted it to be quite subtle still having some form of funk value.
